General Skating Information
New to Skating? Not Sure What To Do? No Problem!

Our club participates in US Figure Skating's Basic Skills Program and we welcome new skaters of all ages! The Basic Skills program is designed to be a beginning ice skating program that is fun, challenging and rewarding! The official objectives of the program are:

1. To provide a fun and safe skating experience for the beginner as well as the more advanced skater.

2. To teach correct technique of the basic elements of skating.

3. To develop a finer degree of coordination and balance.

4. To promote physical fitness.

5. To HAVE FUN!!

Remember that even Olympic Champions were once beginning skaters. Skating is a great way to have fun, get some exercise, learn new skills and meet new people! Join us and experience the fun of figure skating!   Click here for more great info for new skaters.
